With an expertise in Federal and Commercial IT Services, our CTO, Jim DePhillip, decided it was time to venture out and pursue a dream. Peerless was born!
Just one month from inception, Peerless wins its first MSP contract client. A major milestone that would ignite the Peerless MSP service model.
Peerless brings in it's first full-time employee to help support Jim's MSP vision. As the company grows, Peerless is hyper focused on providing value added solutions and services to clients.
Inspired by the rapid growth in the IT space, Peerless expands its service offering and begins providing Compliance Solutions along with its award-winning IT Services.
Peerless receives it's first honor by being recognized as the 2017 Charles Country Small Business of the Year!
Peerless launches its Federal Services Division to support its growing number of Department of Defense contractor clients. This is the beginning of an exciting new direction for Peerless; to simplify and support the compliance burden that all Federal contractors are subjected to.
Jim opens a second office in Hollywood, MD to support our growing DoD contractor clientele under Peerless Tech Solutions Federal Services Division.
As Peerless continues to experiences rapid growth on both the Commercial and Federal Services Division, the company outgrows its original office and expands into a state-of-the-art Operations Center to better support our Partners.
As the need to meet Federal compliance requirements becomes more and more burdensome for government contractors, customers leverage Peerless for its years of knowledge and expertise to help be their guide. At Peerless, we support our customers through their regulatory compliance journey, including certification and ongoing management for CMMC and NIST 800-171.

As a network architect with more than 20 years of experience and a founder at Peerless along with Brian Seeling, DePhillip taps his deep understanding of software development and product capabilities to develop innovative solutions for the DoD and intelligence community that are cost-effective, efficient, scalable, and forward-thinking.
Before launching Peerless in 2014 with James DePhillip, Seeling worked in the IT industry (both private and government), bootstrapping his way up from help desk support to lead engineer. Today, Seeling carries out the vision set forth when he first launched Peerless: helping clients to align their goals with the appropriate technologies.
As the leader of our Federal Services Division, Vest manages Peerless IT projects that support the Department of Defense. For nearly a decade, Vest has managed high-visibility voice, video, and network efforts for the federal government and delivered unique, cutting-edge solutions.
From Defense and Intelligence to Health and Energy, Bragger has 22+ years of cybersecurity experience across a multitude of industries. Much of his experience was gained leading cybersecurity, governance, risk management, and compliance for hundreds of millions of dollars in programs. Bragger also created the OWASP Cyber Controls Matrix, a non-profit project that consolidates knowledge and efforts across multiple cyber standards.
With degrees in both engineering and theatre — along with a decade of marketing experience across every major vertical — Burke brings a unique approach to his role as marketing director at Peerless. Skilled at communicating complex, technical topics in a way that is engaging for our customers, Burke’s messaging is often the first exposure Peerless prospects have with our brand.
As Technical Account Manager, Michael Davison oversees the technical needs of Peerless clients. Through consultation, recommendations, and support, Michael distills complex technical information into clear, straight-forward solutions that our customers can act upon.
Hollister's role is to introduce Peerless's vast service offerings to prospects who are looking to improve efficiency, achieve compliance, and shift the daily tasks of IT Management to a trusted service provider. With over a decade of experience building meaningful relationships, Hollister is capable of understanding a wide variety of business challenges so that he can deliver the best possible solutions to our prospective customers.
As manager of Engineering Delivery, Chris Kalbe delivers technology solutions that solve business problems. With decades of hands-on experience in IT, we’re hard-pressed to find an IT system that Kalbe doesn’t have experience implementing, supporting, or managing, or a tech problem that he can’t solve.
